Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Relief Manager to join our team. This position involves travelling between stores in East London and surrounding areas to provide support and relief management when store managers are on leave. The ideal candidate will be a person of integrity, with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. No formal management experience is required — full training will be provided — but previous retail experience and leadership potential will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide relief management and support at various stores when managers are on leave.

Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth running, consistent standards, and excellent customer service.

Support and motivate in-store teams to maintain productivity and morale.

Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.

Uphold company policies, values, and service standards.

Build positive relationships with staff, management, and customers.

Travel between 10–12 stores as required within East London and surrounding areas.
Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12).

Valid Code B driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Person of integrity, reliability, and strong moral character.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Problem-solving ability with a proactive attitude.

Previous retail experience advantageous.

Management experience not required, but potential to grow into leadership will be seen as an advantage.
