Retail Branch Manager

SUMMARY:
Retail Branch Manager position available in Modderfontein / Edenvale area for manufacturing retail company / store.

POSITION INFO:

The Branch Manager is responsible for the daily operation and overall performance of the retail paint store. The Branch Manager is responsible for “their business”. This includes activities geared at sales, marketing, merchandising, stock management, security, customer service, banking, reporting, administration and housekeeping. The Branch Manager exhibits strong sales, profit, service, management, organizational and administration ability. The store retails a range of decorative coatings, industrial coatings, preparation products, field marking machines and liquids and painting accessories. Retail hours are applicable (i.e. incl Saturday mornings).

Requirements:

• Matric essential.
• Own transport essential.
• Must reside within close proximity to the store (i.e. Boksburg, Benoni, Kempton Park, etc.).
• Strong sales ability and sales experience.
• Demonstrable sales track record essential. Must be comfortable with telephonic sales.
• Retail experience beneficial.
• Paint / coatings experience beneficial, but not essential.
• Strong personality and self-driven.
• Mature and responsible demeanour.
• IT literate
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• High degree of professionalism and conduct at all times.
• Friendly demeanour and interpersonal skills (time managements, assertiveness, and conflict resolution).
• Figure and admin orientated.
• Organised and thorough.
• Sales and profit driven.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
