JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an experienced senior Restaurant Manager for a 100-seater upmarket steakhouse in the Overberg Area.

The role is to oversee and manage the overall kitchen and front of house teams and operations.

We are looking for a hands-on individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, a leader, stable and able to perform under pressure.

Previous restaurant management experience in a similar environment is essential.

Minimum requirements:

Previous experience in managing busy restaurant operations (4- 6 years).
High attention to detail and process driven.
Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
Problem solving skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Customer and service centric.
Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Hands-on approach to day-to-day restaurant operations.
Overall responsibility for the front of house and kitchen teams to ensure quality, standards and controls are maintained.
Continued staff development and driving service standards.
Daily administrative and financial duties, and monthly reporting.
Regular presence on the restaurant floor during service to ensure smooth operations.
The management of all organizational certificates, Health and Safety…etc.

Remuneration R25 000 – R30 000 per month.

Start date 1 July 2022
