Reservations Consultant - Century City

If you have a proven track record in the travel industry and thrive on exceeding targets, closing deals, and delivering results, our client requires you as a Reservations Consultant for their Century City branch

POSITION INFO:
Job Specification
Join a dynamic team of high-performing, revenue-focused experts, where your industry knowledge and sales ability will be truly valued
Dealing with enquiries, quotes and booking holidays to a variety of destinations worldwide
Particular focus on the Middle East, South-East Asia and the Indian Ocean
Turning enquiries/quotes into bookings
Offer suitable packages and ancillaries within the requirements
Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
Achieve monthly sales targets
Use personal travel experience and product knowledge to sell appropriate holidays
Follow up on all enquiries made
Cross-selling to alternative holidays
Undertake any other duties or projects commensurate within the nature of the role

Minimum Requirements
Matric or equivelant
Travel Industry Diploma 
Experience using a GDS, preferably Galileo
Excellent geographical knowledge and experience in the travel industry
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Professional mannerism
Customer-focused
Experienced in selling travel products or services
Basic knowledge of standard PC systems (full training will be given on in-house systems)
Basic knowledge of ABTA/ATOL regulations
Target-oriented
Ability to work under pressure and independently
Organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Proactive & enthusiastic
Supportive
Team player
Prepared to work shifts
Basic salary plus commission and transport provided (within 35km)
Hours: Mon-Fri 15h00pm - 00h00am or 16h00pm - 01h00am + Saturday (rotational ) Subject to change
