POSITION INFO:
Join a fast-growing, technology-driven advisory firm focused on helping large organisations simplify and automate financial reporting and planning. Working with major corporates and public sector clients, the business provides smart software solutions that make consolidating and analysing multi-entity data seamless.

The role offers strong exposure to both finance and systems, alongside the chance to develop consulting and client engagement skills within an innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build reporting and planning applications within specialised financial reporting software.
Develop data collection templates and financial models using advanced Excel functionality.
Configure reporting structures and integrate data from multiple source systems.
Produce automated financial reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for clients' use.
Manage client relationships and provide ongoing system support and optimisation recommendations.
Assist with implementation projects, documentation, and client training.
Participate in internal initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- BCom in Finance or a related financial Degree
- Completed or in progress CIMA qualification will be advantageous / CA(SA)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial reporting, FP&A, financial management, or Financial Business Analyst role
- Experience implementing or supporting financial reporting / planning software solutions
Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, and reporting outputs)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Ability to prepare financial reports, such as management accounts, financial statements, or budget packs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level of professionalism and confidence when engaging with finance professionals
Advantageous:
- Understanding of IFRS and group consolidation principles
- Exposure to SQL or database environments
- Prior consulting or software implementation experience
- Completed accounting articles
