POSITION INFO:
In large, fast-moving organisations, accurate reporting is what drives confident decision-making. A leading retail and financial services group is looking for a Reporting Accountant to join their Cape Town-based finance team.

This role sits at the heart of the reporting function, focusing on year-end processes, audit support, and financial reporting accuracy. You’ll work within a structured, high-performance environment where deadlines matter and precision is non-negotiable. If you’re a technically strong CA(SA) who enjoys reporting and thrives under pressure, this opportunity offers strong exposure within a well-established group.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and reviewing financial reports and reporting packs
Managing year-end processes and audit preparation
Supporting and liaising with external auditors
Ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal reporting standards
Maintaining accuracy across the general ledger and reporting structures
Assisting with financial analysis and variance reporting
Working with SAP systems for financial reporting and data management

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) qualification (essential)
Strong experience in financial reporting and audit processes
Exposure to retail or financial services environments advantageous
Proficiency in SAP
Strong understanding of IFRS and reporting frameworks
High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
