Role
We’re looking for a strong Remote Support Technician to provide reliable, efficient IT support to our clients. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to support requests via remote tools, phone, and email. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, application, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, and update systems and software. Guide users through solutions clearly and efficiently. Maintain accurate ticket notes and documentation. Escalate complex issues where required. Assist with user accounts, permissions, and Microsoft 365 support while maintaining security best practices.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a remote IT support role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and VoIP. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN). Experience with remote access tools and ticketing systems. Strong problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.). Server support experience. Exposure to Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Networking experience. Experience working with a PSA/ticketing system, preferably in an MSP environment.
Working Conditions
Office-based role in Hillcrest. Standard full-time hours apply, with occasional after-hours support required. Fast-paced environment requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple support requests.
