We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering client looking for a technically strong Remote Condition Monitoring Specialist, to support plant reliability and predictive maintenance through advanced remote monitoring platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of automation, data analysis, and operational optimisation in a high-performance engineering environment.

POSITION INFO:
As a Remote Condition Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance and health of deployed plants and equipment using remote monitoring systems. The role focuses on configuring new monitoring sites, ensuring system uptime and data integrity, analysing operational data, managing alarms and deviations, and providing actionable insights that support maintenance and reliability strategies.

You will work closely with engineering, field service, and technical support teams to ensure proactive fault detection, minimise downtime, and continuously improve monitoring processes.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Experience with remote monitoring, condition monitoring, or industrial automation environments
Strong understanding of PLC/SCADA systems, IoT instrumentation, and data acquisition platforms
Ability to analyse monitoring data to identify performance deviations or anomalies
Experience configuring dashboards, alarms, and reporting structures
Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting ability
Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable outcomes
