Introduction:

A Vacancy exists for a Rehabilitation Practice Manager at the acute Rehabilitation Unit 

Requirements:

· Degree or Diploma in nursing or 4 Year Degree as an Allied Health Professional

· Current registration with SANC / HPCSA

· Atleast 3-5 years post registration experience and proven leadership and/or people management experience within healthcare (including clinical competence in the area of orthopaedics, neurology or rehabilitation)

· Participative and collaborative management style. Capacity to lead, foster and develop a healthy and positive working environment which actively promotes joint performance and value-based culture

· Demonstrated leadership excellence with proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, showcasing exceptional communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills to drive optimal team performance and outcomes.

· Contemporaneous knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, industrial relations, standards, codes, ethics and competency standards

· Understanding of the private healthcare and or funder industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage.

· Post Graduate Management / Education qualification experience will be an advantage

· Computer proficiency

· Driver’s license and ability to travel
