Registered Nurse (Case Manager)

SUMMARY:
Location: Gqeberha, Eastern Cape

Role Purpose

What You’ll Do

• Review in-hospital patients for appropriateness of care, length of stay, and level of care.
• Liaise with service providers and treating doctors for clinical updates.
• Plan discharges and ensure continuity of care post-hospitalisation.
• Authorise cost-effective surgical care and treatment.
• Drive compliance with policies, exclusions, and best practices.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships through hospital visits.
• Provide clinical support to non-clinical teams when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• National Senior Certificate and Nursing Diploma/Degree.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a private hospital (Theatre environment)
• Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Experience in managed care/case management is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS 365.
• SA Citizen with a clear criminal history.
