SUMMARY:
Multi-national retailer seeks FMCG Area Operations Manager to be a servant leader of leaders in a business unit whilst promoting sales, reducing stock losses, managing stock, leading and growing a team to maintain a low-cost culture in order to meet business goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • Minimum Hons Degree Business Management, HR Management or Retail
  • Clean Drivers License for frequent travel in the region
  • Computer Literate. (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).
  • Valid Code 8 manual driver’s license with a willingness to travel extensively. Able to work away from home.
  • The successful candidate will join an intensive 1-2 year Management Development Programme where he/she will be required to manage various sales projects whilst leading a team
Duties:
  • Ability to manage a large portfolio and multiple projects to increase revenue by ensuring smooth operations
  • People management
  • Cost and budget management
  • Analysis of information, execution of projects from inception to completion
  • Proactive, ability to make decisions
Attributes:
  • A passion for retail is essential to deliver a world-class customer experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience
  • Confident with very strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with the ability to give recognition, support, direction and guidance to a team of achievers
  • Strong Managerial capabilities - think like an owner of the business with the ability to plan, lead, organise and control.
