JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overall Job Function:

Refrigeration technicians are responsible for the installation, service, and repair of
refrigeration systems.

Requirements

Traveling to various Clients for the repair and maintenance of Truck Refrigeration.
Problem solving.
Troubleshooting and fault-finding.
After hours standby (shift work).
Attending breakdowns
Scheduled and unscheduled services
Planning/Coordinating servicing and repairs
Fill out job cards.
Stock manages and stock take.
Instructions follow to the point.

Qualifications

Matric
Relevant qualification in Refrigeration (Courses, Trade Tests etc.)
Valid driver's license and own reliable transport

Experience:

Must have experience of greater than 3 years in mobile, truck and transport refrigeration is preferred but non-transport refrigeration experience will also be considered.
Strong electrical/electronic experience.
Prepared to work shifts and including weekends.
Willingness to attend to call outs after hours and on weekends.

Must be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
Mechanical proficiency.
Open to occasional travel within South Africa.

Good interpersonal analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to complete projects in time

Salary:

R20 000 - R25 000
