Refrigeration Technician - George, Western Cape
POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a qualified and motivated Refrigeration Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment and attending to service callouts within set SLA timeframes.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Refrigeration Qualification with Trade Test
- Valid Driver’s License
- Gas Handling License
- 1–2 years’ refrigeration experience
- 1–2 years’ customer service experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Familiarity with operational areas of coverage
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems
- Attend to refrigeration-related service callouts within SLA timeframes
- Conduct fault-finding and effective problem resolution
- Manage car stock: maintain stock levels, submit orders, complete stock documentation
- Submit job cards daily and update outlet record boards
- Complete weekly vehicle inspections and submit reports
