POSITION INFO:

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business
  • Track industry trends and competitor activity
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis
  • Expand customer base or sales territory through new business
  • Identify and assess client needs, do need analysis
  • Use services to resolve client problems
  • Organize, schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Plan and deliver presentations
  • Handle client objections effectively
  • Negotiate to a win-win outcome
  • Close the sale in a professional manner
  • Manage all steps of the sales cycle effectively
  • Provide excellent service to existing customer base
  • Improve customer retention rates and sales
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve targets and quotas
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies
  • Develop and maintain a candidate database
  • Plan and conduct direct marketing activities
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Follow up with clients and candidates
  • Present company services to current and potential clients
  • Develop sales proposals within the boundaries of the company
  • Prepare and present sales contracts (candidate & client), service level agreements
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
  • Have regular client visits and follow ups
  • Ensure candidate service satisfaction and good candidate relationships
  • Perform quality checks on service delivery
  • Monitor and report on sales activities
  • Carry out market research and surveys
  • Participate in sales events
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and service industry development

 

Education and Experience

  • Matric and other relevant post-matric qualifications
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Knowledge of basic business principles
  • Knowledge of digital sales platforms
  • Experience in sales
  • Experience in making presentations
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
