Recruitment & Sourcing Specialist

Location: Remote (South Africa-based candidates only, Cape Town preferred) | Working Arrangement: Fully Remote (transitioning to a hybrid Cape Town office in approximately 12–18 months) | Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm UK Time | Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 per month + Lucrative Commission

Our client is a growing recruitment business specialising in global SAP recruitment. With a founder-led approach and a rapidly expanding international client base, the business is focused on delivering recruitment solutions while building its South African delivery team.

The business has recently secured three new clients in the Netherlands, resulting in a significant increase in recruitment activity. Their long-term vision is to establish a dedicated sourcing team in Cape Town, beginning with a fully remote model before transitioning to a hybrid office environment as the team grows.

THE ROLE: Recruitment & Sourcing Specialist

As the Recruitment & Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role across the full recruitment lifecycle, supporting international recruitment projects from sourcing and headhunting through to candidate screening and ongoing candidate care. Working closely with the founder, you will contribute to the continued growth of the sourcing function while helping improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.

This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the growth of a South African recruitment team, with the potential to develop into a future leadership position as the business expands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take a hands-on and proactive approach to headhunting using outbound sourcing techniques.
• Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, email, telephone, and other sourcing platforms.
• Screen candidates via telephone, video, and written communication to assess suitability for client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with candidates in both spoken and written English.
• Record personalised voice notes for candidate outreach.
• Maintain and accurately update ATS and CRM systems.
• Collaborate with international clients and teams, particularly outside South Africa.
• Organise and manage daily activities using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and OneNote.
• Manage email and LinkedIn automation tools for candidate outreach.
• Work closely with the founder to improve internal processes and candidate experience.
• Support the continued growth of the sourcing function with the opportunity to develop into a future leadership role.

ABOUT YOU

• A few years'' recruitment experience.
• Previous recruitment and sourcing experience.
• Technology recruitment experience is essential.
• Previous experience working in an outbound sourcing and proactive headhunting capacity.
• Strong passive candidate sourcing and headhunting experience using LinkedIn.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter on a daily basis.
• SAP recruitment experience is highly desirable.
• Previous experience updating and maintaining ATS and CRM systems.
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and OneNote.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Confident using video and voice-based communication for candidate outreach.
• Highly organised, structured, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working directly with the CEO in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-managed, resilient, and able to work without constant supervision.
• Responsive to feedback and open to coaching and development.
• Open to being challenged as part of personal development.
• Previous experience working remotely is advantageous.
• Experience working within a small business and/or with international teams is advantageous.
• Familiarity with email and LinkedIn automation tools is advantageous.

• Open to developing leadership skills as the team expands.
• Motivated to contribute ideas, help shape strategies, and support the growth of the business.

WHAT''S ON OFFER

• Competitive base salary of R20,000 – R25,000 per month.
• Lucrative commission structure based on placement value.
• Typical placement fees range from €15,000–€25,000, with commission paid as a percentage of each placement.
• Fully remote working initially.
• Planned transition to a hybrid Cape Town office within approximately 12–18 months.
