Receptionist (JB2029)
Modderfontein, Johannesburg
R6 – 6 500 per month
Duration: Permanent

Supplier for the logistics industry is looking for a Receptionist with a positive demeanor, who has a valid drivers license and ideally, their own vehicle. Applicants must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written with good Microsoft Office skills.

Minimum Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Own vehicle preferred
Excellent communication skills
Able to multi-task
Detail orientated
Reliable
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the switchboard, directing calls and taking messages
Meet and greet visitors, making them feel welcome
Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and organised
Schedule meetings
Assist with taking minutes of meetings
Assist staff with queries and complaints and redirect to the General and Operations Manager
Manage all general filing
Ordering of PPE, when required
Ordering and stock office supplies
Ordering of supply books
Purchase office groceries on a monthly basis
Check and maintain First Aid Box
Record incidents and accidents
Update new clients and supplier map
Manage storeroom sundries
Issuing of uniforms
Schedule annual fire drills and fire extinguisher services
