Receptionist

The Person:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration advantageous.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a Receptionist or Administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Experience using office equipment including printers, scanners, and telephone systems.
• Health & Safety experience advantageous.
• Function or event co-ordination experience advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally.
• Welcome visitors and provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform general administration, including filing, scanning, photocopying, printing, and data capturing.
• Manage courier services, deliveries, and collections.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
• Order and monitor office stationery and supplies.
• Co-ordinate refreshments and catering for meetings.
• Assist with travel and accommodation bookings when required.
• Support departments with administrative tasks and special projects.
• Assist with office events and function co-ordination.
