Job Description:
We’re seeking a professional, customer-focused Receptionist with hands-on experience in the autobody or panel beating industry. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing front-desk operations while understanding the language of vehicle repairs and insurance processes. If you’re skilled at handling phone calls, engaging with clients, coordinating schedules, and keeping administrative tasks running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and visitors professionally and courteously.
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and redirect calls as needed.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for vehicle assessments, repairs, and deliveries.
• Maintain up-to-date job cards, customer files, and booking records.
• Communicate with insurance companies, assessors, and customers regarding claims and repair progress.
• Issue invoices and receipts, handle payments, and maintain petty cash records.
• Assist with the preparation of estimates and work orders (in coordination with estimators).
• Monitor and update the status of vehicles in the system (e.g., from assessment to completion).
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Provide administrative support to workshop and office staff as needed.
