• Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• Qualification in warehousing/supply chain/logistics
• At least 2-3 years supervisory experience, or proof of consistent career advancement to qualify for advancement to a Supervisor.
• Ability to motivate and develop direct reports.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office Package), SAP, Qwix

• Experience in Receiving mythologies and practices
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Service delivery and outcomes driven
• Excellent mathematical and literacy skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• A highly detail-oriented and process-focused orientation

• Assist manager in the general management of companies Receiving, Credit and Returns and Work in progress functions.
• Assist with planning and scheduling of department functions to ensure prompt and accurate receiving of products and transferring of goods into the warehouse.
• Oversees the preparation and off-loading of all trucks and containers from suppliers in conformance with company procedures and customer instructions.
• Ensure that stock is correctly and accurately received in good order and condition and is acceptable for selling.
• Assist with priority reports and other information to prioritize work
• Ensuring accurate identification and bar-coding of products
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting and shipping.
• Assist with checking in of goods in accordance to receiving procedures and through the utilization of the correct information systems.
• Assist with the day to day management of the receiving team, including leave, attendance and disciplinary management.
