Receiving Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Manufacturing Industry has an opportunity available for a Receiving Clerk in the Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Warehousing / Inventory Diploma or Degree
• Excellent MS Office and MS Excel
• At least 4 years'' experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment

• Handle and manage incoming goods and materials received
• Perform and execute unloading and unpacking of goods received from Depots/Suppliers
• Inspect and verify the condition of goods received
• Count and verify received goods
• Reconcile goods received against invoices/delivery notes
• Do random weighing of pallets on scale provided to check if tonnage is correct- pallet wrap, Labels..etc
• Do quality inspections on goods
• Conduct Monthly Stock take
