SUMMARY:
The role will require the individual to work closely with Finance / Procurement and internal Clients

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with procurement staff/General Club Managers on expected deliveries
  • Collaborate with finance staff on outstanding documents e.g. supplier invoices not yet matched to approved PO’s.
  • Ensure all documentation from Clubs/Procurement is correct and handed over to finance.
  • For Head Office deliveries:

-          Receive goods and sign paperwork upon receipt at Head Office

-          Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged

-          Verify delivery according to Purchase order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)

-          Safeguard of inventory: control the storeroom for issuing and receiving purposes

  • Club deliveries/services:

-          Collaborate with CGM/Regionals on services rendered/deliveries received

-          Verify delivery according to Purchase order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)

-          Verify job card according to Purchase order and invoices (quality, reasonability of work done, price etc.)

  • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified and obtain corrected paperwork
  • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory goods or receiving replacements
  • Capture all delivery notes/job cards as per approved PO’s/job cards
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
  • Grade 12
  • Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
  • MS Excel and Outlook experience
  • Basic math and recording abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Keen eye for detail
