Qualification

• Matric

• Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience as a Receiving Clerk within the retail building materials, hardware, or construction supplies industry.
• Strong knowledge of receiving procedures, stock control, and inventory management.
• Experience working with ERP or stock management systems.
• Good understanding of building materials, hardware products, and related stock categories.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Must be able to work alternative weekends

• Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Inspect incoming stock for damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Accurately capture and process goods received on the inventory system.
• Ensure correct labeling, storage, and distribution of stock.
• Maintain organized receiving and warehouse areas.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and store management regarding stock issues.
• Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory control processes.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company procedures at all times.
