POSITION: FIELD GUIDE

Qualifications:

Valid RSA Driver’s License and PDP
FGASA Qualification – Minimum NQF 4 with a minimum requirement of back up trails. Lead trails will be considered a bonus.
NDT Registration (Mpumalanga)
Valid First Aid
3 Years' Experience as a Field Guide in a Big 5 Game Reserve

Responsibilities:

Safaris daily
Conducting Walking Safaris
Assistance around the lodge in other departments when required
Bush clearing and veld management
Hosting meals
Vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
Guest Experience

Personal attributes:

Mature and Responsible
Well Spoken
Well Groomed and presentable
Excellent guest interaction
Ability to take initiative

Live in position, with shared accommodation.

7 days off per month with 21 annual leave days after one years’ service.

5% Provident – does not form part of CTC package (compulsory membership).

Uniform and food provided

Salary based on qualifications: NQF 2 – R7500

With each qualification there is an increment.
