Your typical day in a radiology environment includes:
- Working closely with the rest of the team to provide superior diagnostic and interventional services
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure accurate, timely patient diagnoses
- Managing patient care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit with us
- Contributing to a fast-paced, evolving environment where your skills are valued and continuously honed
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Own/reliable transport
Main Responsibilities:
- Build rapport with patients and assist them into wheelchairs where needed
- Confirm patient details before taking them to x-rays
- Remind patients to hand over valuables for lock-up in the ward before leaving the ward
- Liaise with nursing staff, referring doctor rooms, and labs regarding patient matters
- Assist with transferring/lifting patients before and after examinations
- Fetching and delivering lab and radiology results
- Assist with washing wheelchairs, portable machines, cassettes, etc.
- Assist with receiving and moving stock
