An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with emergency nursing experience to join a high-performing Emergency Unit. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide and coordinate high-quality nursing care while ensuring compliance with clinical standards, patient safety protocols and healthcare legislation. You will contribute to positive patient outcomes, support operational excellence and help maintain the highest standards of emergency care.

What You'll Do
Deliver evidence-based nursing care within the Emergency Unit.
Assess, monitor and manage emergency and trauma patients.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
Promote quality clinical outcomes and positive patient experiences.
Manage the effective utilisation of clinical resources.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Assist with stock control and appropriate utilisation of medical consumables.
Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment.
What You'll Bring
Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
Postgraduate Diploma or Degree in Emergency Nursing (required for Shift Leaders).
Compliance with the SANC Scope of Practice and relevant healthcare legislation.
Minimum 1 year's post-qualification experience in an Emergency Unit.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification will be advantageous.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure emergency environment.
Sound knowledge of emergency nursing practices, anatomy, pathophysiology and patient safety principles.
