Quantity Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performing, Tendering & Estimating
  • Ensure the correct Analysis of drawings and technical specifications
  • Ensure that there is an understanding of the various contractual terms & conditions
  • Building of positive internal and external client relations
  • Ensure that there is always complete budgeting/scheduling
  • Formulate unit pricing for estimation and tendering as well as for Valuing Variation orders
  • Ensures the completion of labour costing & productivity breakdown
  • Perform pre-construction services and estimating
  • Formulating contractual claims in accordance with contract provisions
  • Provide feedback to the Site Manager regarding monthly labour costing information
  • Capture and report on the procurement status of each project and keeping the records in an organisationally approved file format
  • Charing of monthly internal cost report and progress status report meetings
