Quantity Surveyor

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading Property Management and Development company based in East London, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join their dynamic team. POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and timely quantity measures for cost estimates.
• Manage budgets, subcontractors, and project cost effectiveness.
• Prepare and monitor project cash flows and forecasts.
• Negotiate and finalize contractor accounts.
• Certify and process subcontractor invoices and claims.
• Provide construction activity programs to assist site teams.

• Assess structural integrity of potential acquisitions.
• Prepare remedial and redevelopment cost estimates.
• Assist with tender documentation and construction activity plans.

Minimum Requirements

• ND Building/QS (or equivalent qualification).
• 4+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of Standard System of Measuring Building Work.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and extract accurate quantities.
• Proficiency in JBCC contract law and development processes.
• Assertive, detail-driven, and team-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills.
