Quality Manager Assistant – Glen Anil

We are seeking a Quality Manager Assistant. This is a junior position starting off by working 2 – 3 days with future potential of the role developing into a full-time position and become a senior quality employee in our quality department.

Experience:

• Must have worked in a Quality department closely with the QA manager.

• Experience in the implementation of QMS under supervision.

• Experience working with or have worked as a QA Inspector/Auditor internally or externally.

Responsibilities – Oversee and Manage the Compliance of the Group for ISO Requirements.

• Co-ordinate and keep the QMS system up to date and relevant and in line with ISO 9001/GMP regulations including the additions for Pharmaceutical Primary Packaging.

• Ensuring that the required SOP/Procedures/Documents are compiled and up to date.

• Ensure the company is always ready to be audited by Customers/Supplier at short notice.

• Company is ready for annual ISO accreditation audit.

• Assist with moving QMS to electronic platform and maintaining platform

• Auditing/checking of the system to ensure that procedures are in line with the QMS and a report is compiled of the findings.

• Ensuring that the annual calibration of equipment is carried out by relevant department.

• Ensure that the reporting and recording of non-conforming products are carried out and carry out investigation when problems occur and provide feedback with conclusion on root cause and accountability and to assist with procedure for process solution to prevent it from happening again. (Corrective and Preventative Action)

• All QMS supplier/customer problems is addressed and corrective and preventative actions are taken and implemented.

• Ensure that the non-conformance procedures are followed through.

• Carry out external Audits and compile report for feedback.

• The renewal and compliance of various external organization’s that company belongs and subscribes to (but not limited to, SAPRHA, Diabetes SA, Intertek)

• Ensure the non-conforming products documentation that are returned to supplier within the specified time frame is audited and checked so that credit or replacement product is done.

• Prepare quality reports for weekly/monthly/annual management meetings.

• Compile minutes of monthly management meetings, ensure that responsibilities are followed up.

• Ensure that all departments housekeeping requirements are met. Check list in place and audited.

• Ensure the Healthy and Safety Team has their meetings and reports are filled and recommendations actioned within the timeframes allowed.

• Ensure Health and Safety procedures are implemented and followed. Check list in place for each department and audited, Fire Department and Insurance.

• Oversee and manage quality department staff.

• Liaise with customers in respect of customer complaints.

• Plan and execute training, including assessments and QMS.

• Audit and check on Rebate Store monthly and report on it.

• Oversee the updating and completion of Green Seals. From QMS/documentation/recorded/matrix.

• Supplier QMS are met and information and documents needed are completed and all relevant forms/documents are supplied.

• If required to meet with suppliers to finalize documents and procedures.

• Organize & document Management Review meetings & ensure responsibilities are followed up.

A strong quality back ground experience in the following areas is required:

• Must have managed a Quality department.

• Experience in the implementation of QMS.

• ISO 9001
