Our client, a leading food and beverage manufacturing company, seeks to employ a skilled and experienced Quality Coordinator, with a background in short shelf-life products manufacturing.

Please note that only candidates with experience in the food and beverage sector will be considered and preference to those from the dairy or short shelf-life product industry

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

• You will have completed a degree in Food Technology, Food Sciences or equivalent, coupled with 2-5 years experience in overseeing the operation of the lab and coordinating quality from raw materials to final product stage
• You will have a proven track record in managing food safety and ensuring best practices to ensure high quality to exceed HACCP, FSSC22000 and related quality standards
• You will have natural leadership skills in order to lead a small team of quality staff and excellent communication skills in terms of liaising with suppliers and customers whilst conducting audits
• You will have a solid understanding of lab apparatus, be able to conduct sample tests and report on non-conformances, as well as implement corrective action and problem solve effectively
• You must have a valid driver’s license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
