POSITION INFO:
Our client, a reputable shipyard company, is seeking a skilled Quality Controller to join their team in Qatar. If you have experience in steelworks and quality control and are committed to ensuring the highest standards of excellence, this is the opportunity for you!

Requirements:

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control within steelworks, shipbuilding, or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of welding standards, steel fabrication processes, and material testing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Familiarity with ISO standards, inspection procedures, and safety regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of steel components and structures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Perform material testing, dimensional checks, and welding inspections to verify quality and integrity.
Review technical drawings and welding procedures to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Document inspection results and prepare detailed quality reports.
Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and supervisors to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
Monitor and enforce adherence to ISO, HSE, and company safety protocols during all inspections.
Assist in maintaining and calibrating inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
