Quality Controller

SUMMARY:

They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our dynamic team. The company is based in Centurion, and it is on a temporary basis.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect packaging materials and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
• Perform visual and functional tests on products and materials to detect any defects or inconsistencies.
• Identify areas for improvement and work with production teams to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections and test results.
• Report non-conformities and assist in troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with both local and international quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to improve overall product quality.

• 2-4 years experience as a Quality Controller or similar role in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
• Must be meticulous with colour and checking for consistency
• Knowledge of packaging materials, production processes, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant qualification in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO and other quality management systems (advantageous).
