Quality Assurance Officer – Pretoria

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose:

ØTo plan and execute the inspection, configuration, testing, and installation of products/devices to confirm/ensure quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables.

Ø

Scope of Work / Duties:

ØConfigure appropriate products sold and test for implementation;

ØInstall and test devices/products;

ØUnderstand the features and functions of all devices in use;

ØComplete understanding of the company “Installation guidelines”;

ØComplete understanding of the Wiring diagrams of the various products/devices;

ØComplete understanding of the Unit testing and raw logs after installation;

ØAccurate and detailed completion of Job cards and necessary paperwork;

ØTravelling to customer’s locations, remotely accessing equipment and performing routine maintenance;

ØWork closely with platform developers on integration;

ØSupport and maintain device configurations on the network;

ØAssist the Customer Care staff with problem solving;

ØTesting existing and new devices for distribution;

ØResponsible for quality control in respect of devices and harnesses;

ØOversee complete provisioning process.

Required Competencies:

ØRelated Secondary/Tertiary Qualification;

ØPrior experience in a Tracking, Configuration & Installation environment;

ØExcellent verbal and written communication skills;

ØFriendly, approachable, and outgoing personality;

ØAdaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks;

ØFully Bilingual (English & Afrikaans);

ØOwn Transportation.
