Quality Assurance Coordinator (Fabrication Workshop SMPP - ISO 17020:2012 & ISO 9001:2015) - WALVIS BAY

SUMMARY:
Ensure that processes and procedures needed for the ISO 17020:2012 & ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems are established, implemented and maintained.

POSITION INFO:
Namibian and South African candidates only.

Minimum Matric.
Implementing & maintaining management systems.
Knowledge of ISO 17020:2012 & ISO 9001:2015 standards clausal requirements.
Knowledge of DNV 2.7-1 and DNV 2.7-3 standards.
ISO 17020:2012 /ISO 9001:2015 implementation & internal auditing.
MS Office packages
English and Afrikaans
Valid driver’s license
Must be willing to travel to sites
 
Establish, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for ISO 17020:2012 & ISO 9001:2015 management systems.
Report to top management on system performance and improvement needs.
Verify Technical Manager duties (ISO 17020).
Ensure comprehensive understanding of ISO 17020:2012 & ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Maintain and communicate with accreditation bodies.
Ensure adherence to management systems.
Oversee inspection activities according to relevant standards and client requirements (ISO 17020).
 
Duties ISO 17020:2012:
Ensure personnel complete impartiality and confidentiality agreements.
Conduct and manage training programs.
Evaluate and approve suppliers.
Handle complaints and appeals.
Maintain quality meeting minutes and objectives.
Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions.
Register nonconformities and conduct root-cause analysis.
Notify accreditation bodies of changes.
Monitor inspector training and competency.
Ensure equipment maintenance and inspection activities.
Provide technical input during management review.
Review technical documents and notify Technical Manager of updates.
 
Duties ISO 9001:2015:
Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions.
Evaluate and approve suppliers.
Conduct new subcontractor audits.
Maintain organizational context and objectives.
Manage equipment control and employee inductions.
Assess risks and opportunities.
Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints.
Control documents and records according to ISO 9001:2015.
Ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
