Qualified Nurse Vacancy

A leading private recovery and wellness centre in the White River area is seeking a professional, compassionate, and fully qualified Registered Nurse to join their multidisciplinary clinical team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgement, exceptional patient care standards, and the ability to work within a structured therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to clients in a residential recovery setting.
• Conduct medical assessments, monitor vitals, and manage patient files with accuracy.
• Administer medication and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
• Support the clinical team with case notes, reporting, and care coordination.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and follow established protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct at all times.
• Contribute to a calm, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients.

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid SANC registration.
• Minimum 2–3 years clinical experience (mental health, addiction treatment, or wellness environments advantageous).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Clear criminal record and contactable references.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in rehabilitation, psychiatric nursing, or wellness centres.
• Trauma-informed care knowledge.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive situations with empathy.
