QA Tester

We are particularly interested in professionals with strong experience in software testing, test case creation, defect management, functional testing and test automation. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression and integration testing.
• Identify, document and track software defects.
• Perform system and user acceptance testing.
• Participate in test planning and estimation.
• Validate software against business and technical requirements.
• Conduct retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts and Project Teams.
• Support automated testing initiatives where applicable.
• Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports.

• Diploma, BSc, BCom or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Testing or a related field will be advantageous.
• Relevant software testing certifications such as ISTQB will be advantageous.

• 2+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience creating and executing test cases.
• Experience with functional and regression testing.
• Experience identifying and managing software defects.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Scrum environments.
• Experience with test management or defect tracking tools.

• SQL and database testing.
• API Testing will be advantageous.
