POSITION INFO:

The Purchase Ledger assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join our growing finance team. The main duties will be to ensure the accurate processing of invoices, prepare payment runs and reconcile company bank accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process purchase invoices
  • Prepare and run Supplier bacs payments
  • Process Expenses and set up expense payments
  • Set up Supplier accounts
  • Post bank transactions on multiple bank accounts
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Analysis expenditure on accounts
  • Assist operations on ordering supplies
  • Adhoc Purchase ledger duties as required

Candidate criteria:

  • Previous purchase ledger experience
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and a team player, with good attention to detail
  • Proactive and ability to work unsupervised
  • Knowledge of Sage and Netsuite (nice to have)
