SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Project Planner to join a project team within a plant / factory (process plant) environment. This is a 6âmonth contract role, with possible extension depending on project requirements and performance. The role is handsâon and suited to a highly experienced planner with strong project execution exposure.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description: The Project Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting across multiple workstreams within a process plant environment. The role focuses heavily on practical, onâsite project planning rather than administrative support, and requires solid experience working on large projects within an operational plant or factory setting.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Contractors to ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined, monitored, and achieved.

Education:

Relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Project Planning role, with a strong preference for 5+ years planning experience on projects within a process plant / factory environment
Proven experience performing in the capacity of a Project Planner (not coordination or administration only)
Solid planning experience on plant shutdowns, upgrades, modifications, or capital projects
Strong working knowledge and handsâon experience with the following software:
- Primavera P3
- Microsoft Project
Ability to develop, manage, and update integrated project schedules
Experience with progress measurement, reporting, and baseline control
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to work independently in a fastâpaced project environment

Contract Details:

6âmonth contract
