POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Project Manager (Construction)
Location: Namakwa District, Springbok, Aggeneys
Job Type: 14 month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project completion.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project goals are met.
- Communicate with stakeholders and team members to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on project sites.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- PMP certification
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of construction processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
