POSITION INFO:

Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the full management and execution of infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with predefined targets related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety, while maintaining full client satisfaction and adherence to company
procedures.

The role requires significant experience in managing asphalt and infrastructure projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the professional relationship with the Client’s representatives and supervision team to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
2. Lead and manage the project planning process to the required level of detail to ensure successful project delivery.
3. Ensure efficient utilization and management of project resources throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Ensure full commitment of the project team toward achieving all project objectives.
5. Coordinate and synchronize all project stakeholders and activities as required for successful project execution.
6. Manage and supervise all subcontractors and suppliers.
7. Continuously monitor project progress and provide updates to the Division Manager.
8. Manage Variation Orders and project changes in a systematic, documented, and professional manner.
9. Define and implement project safety and quality control plans.
10. Escalate unresolved site-level issues immediately to the relevant management level.

Performance Indicators
Performance will be evaluated based on:
1. Compliance with the project schedule, milestones, and required engineering deliverables.
2. Compliance with the approved project budget.
3. Achievement of high-quality standards.
4. Compliance with predefined safety procedures and standards.
5. Meeting client expectations and divisional performance standards.
6. Working in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
7. Minimizing escalations through proactive planning and engineering solutions.
8. Leading the project team while fostering a strong sense of ownership, belonging, and pride.
9. Initiating, developing, and professionally managing site personnel and project staff, with emphasis on identifying, training, and promoting local employees.
10. Continuous improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) compared to previous-year benchmarks and predefined targets.

Additional Key Emphases
1. Strong understanding of contract documents, with the ability to clearly define project
objectives, scope, and responsibilities of all parties.
2. Maintaining an organized, clean, and well-managed construction site.
3. Preparation of daily and weekly work plans for site supervision teams.
4. Control of both quantity and quality of supplied materials in compliance with project specifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Proven ability to manage multicultural teams.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience
• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience – mandatory.
