Project Assistant (Civil Engineering)

POSITION INFO:

Scope of Work

• Strategic project programmed advisory, facilitation and implementation services
• Heavy Current Electrical experience
• Monitor quality of work, reviewed technical and non-technical reports
• Manage consultant’s timesheets, payments and contracts
• Oversee tracking of data, deliverables and deadlines
• Manage project risks
• Manage the project as ongoing support
• Project coordination, project administration, performance management and quality control
• Writting of strategic business plans, ensuring MAYCO (Mayoral Committee) & EXCO (Executive Council) approval on strategies
• Technical delivery of building condition assessments, bill of quantities and drawings
• Research analysis, investment decision making, cash flow and income projections
• Property highest and best use analysis concept, feasibility and sustainability assessment
• Liaising with experts and specialists (including but not limited to IT, Geographical Information Systems, Facilities Management, Maintenance, Property, legal)
• Managing client deliverables

Education / Qualifications

• Must be educated to Diploma / Degree level
• Must be registered with ECSA 
• At least 3 years experience
