SUMMARY:
Job Title: Project Assistant
Location: Durban

Job Overview:
To provide support on designated projects as directed by the project manager & assistant project manager through administration, coordination, logistical requirements, research and implementation ensuring that the effectiveness and efficiency is maintained.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

A degree or diploma in Business Administration or Diploma in Project Management or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required in the area of project support and administration.
MS Office, MS Excel & Power Point.
MS Teams & ZoomGeneral project management techniques.
MS Project or similar tracking programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
Participate in all phases of research including development of tools, implementation and input into analysis.
Assist in the organization and development of training materials related to the project.
Compose administrative correspondence and drafts such as memos, letters, reports, presentations, agendas and meeting materials.
Organize committee meetings, preparing any required materials that support the quality and completion of the project.
Arrange focus group discussions and interviews to discuss details of the project.
Participate actively in projects and deliverables using specific systems and programmes ensuring that tracking occurs throughout the implementation phase.
Monitor the status of agreements and contracts, reporting on variations or discrepancies to management.
Perform user acceptance testing of the functional requirements of the various systems and business processes.
Document UAT test scenarios, test cases and test scripts; and defines and prepares the test cases.
