ABOUT THE ROLE

Akhile Management and Consulting is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project and Risk Administrator to support project management activities and assist with risk management processes across multiple projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating project administration, monitoring project risks, and ensuring compliance with organisational and client requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide administrative support to project managers and project teams.

Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting systems.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities.

Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

Support the implementation and monitoring of project risk management processes.

Maintain and update risk registers and track mitigation actions.

Assist with preparation of project reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.

Coordinate internal and external project meetings and stakeholder engagements.

Support compliance with governance, regulatory, and organisational requirements.

Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for project performance monitoring.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

At least 5+ years’ experience in project administration, risk management, or a similar role.

Knowledge of project management principles and risk management practices.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

ADVANTAGEOUS

Experience in public sector or municipal consulting environments.

Exposure to governance, compliance, or audit‑related project work.

Knowledge of formal project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).

Knowledge of project management methodologies.
