A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their production team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for technically skilled individuals who are hands-on, safety-conscious, and accustomed to working in fast-paced production environments.

Matric (Grade 12), Technical qualification or trade certificate (Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright, or similar), Minimum of 2 years’ proven machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment are essential skills required to qualify for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure consistent output

• Conducting machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting

• Ensuring quality standards and safety procedures are strictly followed

• Capturing production data and completing required documentation

• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet targets

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Matric (Grade 12)

• Technical qualification or trade certificate
  (Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright, or similar)

• Minimum of 2 years’ proven machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment

• Strong understanding of health & safety standards

• Ability to work shifts and meet production deadlines

Desirable

• FMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

• Good communication skills and attention to detail
