POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

This is the general responsibilities of a Feed Operator. The Employee will have additional functions to include a Forklift Driver and a Cleaner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily stock dips of the tanks.
• Assist with Tanker loading and offloading.
• Taking product samples from tanks and tankers.
• Sealing the outlet valve and top manhole on tankers.
• Transferring products between tanks.
• Completing and circulating blends as per QC Spesmix Sheet.
• Adding antioxidants to the processed product.
• Exchanging filter sieve and cleaning where necessary.
• Exchanging filter bags during loading.
• Assist with man hose exchanges.
• Assist with site housekeeping.
• Clearing the transfer lines of products.
• Complete written instructions for every stock movement.
• Ensure COA and CTC goes with each product given to customers.
• Sampling as per the company requirements.
• Ensure all pit areas are emptied daily.
• Maintain good health, safety and food safety practices.
• Wash and clean all company vehicles as per the Standard Operating procedures.
• Report any problems regarding vehicle cleanliness to Management.

• Minimum of a Grade 12
• Able to read and write
