JOB DESCRIPTION:

Production Manager (Soft-Cheese, Spreads) – George - Market Related

Seeking a Production Manager in a fast-paced FMCG industry with good technical experience in cheesemaking to manage the production and packing of cheese (soft cheese) in accordance with set specifications, procedures and quantities.

Qualifications and Experience

National Diploma/Btech Food Technology.
Between 5- and 10-years’ experience in a managerial capacity in a production environment.
Must have previous cheesemaking experience
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, SYSPRO, WMS)

Key Performance Indicators for this role (but not limited to):

Controlling departmental overhead expenses
Effective management and control of manhours and overtime
Management of production costs
Execution of New Product Development trials
Managing teams to ensure that departmental goals and objectives are achieved
