Production Foreman

SUMMARY:
Production / Factory Foreman for a  manufacturing concern specializing in  ducting, sheet metal products for steam, gas & hot water industries. Please do not send your CV if you do not have experience an industrial production.
Please note this is a very hands on position  that report directly to the Production Manager and provide regular feedback on production performance.
Initiate, implement, and maintain daily and weekly production plans in line with company objectives.
Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet required quality standards.
Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste of materials and resources

POSITION INFO:
Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate.
Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
At least 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
Proven experience in managing production teams and meeting production targets.
Experience working with production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
Monitor performance against the production plan, evaluate outcomes, and initiate corrective action plans
where required.
Coach, train, counsel, and develop production staff to improve skills, performance, and teamwork.
Provide ongoing guidance and support to employees and enforce discipline, when necessary, in line with
company procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Procurement Officer and Production Manager to ensure
availability of required materials.
