SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role entails overseeing and managing the production on a daily basis.

Duties include:

Complying with Health, Safety and Risk Regulations
Environment and Sustainability
Leadership and HR - Report and implement training and development of the production team, manage production staff
Quality and Laboratory - Implement and monitor Production quality control processes in line with company requirements
Finance and Administration - Comply to finance and administration procedures and expense saving budget. Contribute to Production Annual Budget. Obtain quotes and recommend suppliers for Production related expense items
Procurement and Inventory - Comply to and implement Procurement and Inventory procedures and work instructions. Manage Production loss factors and initiate plans to reduce these losses
Operations Management
Marketing and Customer liaison

Requirements:

Matric
Production or related qualification preferred
Must have a valid Code 08 / EB drivers licence
3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
A working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
