SUMMARY:
Looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join a well-established clothing manufacturer. This role suits an organised individual who can manage production flow from order intake to final output within a busy garment environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Print batch labels for all work packs.
Print QC stickers for all work packs.
GRN finished goods from the factory, ensuring total work pack quantities are received so that work packs can be closed.
Track and report on factory output based on GRN activity.
Issue raw materials.
Receive and issue fabric.
Maintain the WIP Store Report.
Maintain the Work Orders Report.
Conduct cycle counts.
Monitor the return of cut sheets and returned fabric.
Issue work packs to trim stores and communicate priority.
Review trim store and stores timesheets and report on efficiency.
Populate and issue embroidery work instructions for in-work and outwork.
Co-ordinate trims, cut work, and outwork to ensure all production lines have enough work supply.
Update the dashboard to ensure all department metrics are recorded and visible.
Record cut work on the cut panel register when cut, and record when sent to the production lines.

Requirements

2–5 years' experience in garment manufacturing, ideally within protective or technical clothing.
Solid understanding of garment production processes including cutting, sewing, finishing, and QC.
Strong production-planning skills with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with production-planning systems advantageous.
Strong administrative capability — maintaining logs, drafting breakdowns, and compiling reports.
Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities.

Remuneration
R9 500 - R15 000 CTC
