SUMMARY:
Our client is a market leader on the African continent, bringing in various products from health and beauty, fitness, DIY, cleaning, and houseware to cookware is looking for a Product Sourcing Specialist. Experience in looking Internationally for products that could be brought to SA and sold to Key account clients such as homeware, cookware, health, beauty, or fitness.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Source, select and develop new products
Oversee development of packaging materials, print ads and POS
Frequent overseas travel to source new products
Manage brand(s), strategy

Skills / Expertise required:

Commerce Degree or Honours in Marketing, or MBA (Experience and skill set also count)
Creative, innovative and lateral thinker
Ability to sell, persuade and negotiate
FMCG experience - Retail and / or Direct Sales
Strong on follow-through and multi-tasking
