An internationally known medical devices company is looking for a Product Administrator. This is an Equity Employment opportunity

Applicants must live in Johannesburg or Pretoria

Areas of Responsibility

• Must have an in-depth knowledge or be willing to obtain such knowledge of the product range and services provided across the portfolio. For example, X-Ray, CR, DR, PACS, Dental, Nuclear, Radiotherapy, Lab equipment, UPS, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Injectors and Insufflators and Vaccine Fridges;
• Radiation license applications and reports;
• Compilation of calculation sheets for the various products and services;
• Preparation and completion of tender specifications (If product manager is unable to) as well as brochures, training certificates, letters of authorisation and other required documents for tender completion;
• General Administration associated with the position;
• Filter through various Tender Bulletins and Tradeworld’s to identify possible Tenders to participate in and then notify Product Managers and Tender department of such cases;
• Support Product Managers as well as Sales Representatives;
• Provide Customer support with the ability to direct the customer to the correct Sales Representative or Product Specialist;
• High attention to detail and critical understanding of cost calculations;
• The ability to work later than normal hours when the need arises;
• Ability to work within a team;
• Any other administrative duties that may arise from time to time

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Previous experience with product within the company is beneficial;
• Medical background is beneficial (Radiographer; Sonographer; Nuclear, PACS administrator);
• Microsoft office (Excel advanced level; Word; PowerPoint; Access) experience is required
• Strong aptitude for figures and calculation
• Aptitude for self study
• A Grade 12 certificate is the minimum requirement. A post-graduate degree or diploma would be a definite advantage
